My Dog Walker ("we", "us") looks after dogs in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, and we look after your details with the same care. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask of us.

What we collect
When you book a free meet & greet, we ask for:
- Your name, email address, mobile number and suburb
- Your dog's name, breed and age
- About your dog's training and behaviour, which services you're interested in and how many walks a week you're after
- Anything else you choose to tell us
If you call, text or email us, we keep what you share so we can help.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange your meet & greet
- To provide and manage our dog walking, adventure day and dog sitting services
- To contact you about your bookings and your dog
We never sell your details, and we don't share them with anyone for their own marketing.
Services that help us run the website
- Enquiry emails. When you submit the meet & greet form, your answers are sent securely to our inbox through an email delivery service (Resend) running on Cloudflare.
- Website analytics. We may use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, such as which pages are visited and which device or browser is used. It uses cookies and doesn't tell us who you are. You can opt out with Google's opt-out add-on.
- Maps. The map in our off-leash parks guide is loaded from OpenStreetMap, so your browser requests map images from their servers.
- Hosting and fonts. The website is hosted on a secure, encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and our fonts are served from our own site.
Our client app
Our client app (coming soon) has its own privacy notice, which explains how bookings, payments, addresses and access codes are handled and protected.
Keeping your details safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we only keep it for as long as we need it to provide our services or meet our legal obligations.
Access, correction and questions
You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@mydogwalker.au. If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please contact us first so we can fix it. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
